The 7th Workshop on Extremely Precise Radial Velocities

Campus MIL, Montréal, Canada • June 14–18, 2027
Welcome

EPRV 7 in Montreal

EPRV 7 brings together the global community advancing extreme precision radial velocity measurements for exoplanet discovery and characterization. Building on the momentum of recent instrument deployments, improved mitigation of stellar variability, and modern data analysis techniques, this workshop will highlight progress and chart the path toward Earth-analog sensitivity.

Following the tradition of previous meetings, EPRV 7 will combine invited talks, contributed presentations, posters, and ample time for discussion to foster collaboration across instrumentation, stellar physics, data analysis, and heliophysics.

Topics

  • New instrumentation: design, calibration, and stability
  • Data reduction, pipelines, and post-processing
  • Stellar and solar variability; mitigation methods
  • Statistical modeling and machine learning for RV
  • Time-series spectroscopy and telluric correction
  • Recent science results from high-resolution spectroscopy

Hosts & Leads

Hosted by Université de Montréal (Campus MIL) in partnership with the Planétarium de Montréal.

Lead scientists: Étienne Artigau & Nathalie Ouellette (iREx, Département de physique, Université de Montréal).
